Digitization Marathon

Digitization Marathon is a unique way to create large number of accessible books in a limited time. It’s a full day activity which can be done in any school or corporate organization by the participating students and employees. A first-of-its-kind initiated by Saksham, it allows users to proof-read books and support book conversion while having fun and generating awareness about the needs of their visually impaired peers. All one needs is a lab with one computer per participant and a stable internet connection.

The first Digitization Marathon was conducted in Tagore International School, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. The students converted more than 1800 pages in a one-day Digitization Marathon. The achievement won the school a Limca Book of Records!
